Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a Project/Senior Designer in our Newport Beach office. This individual must
have a minimum of 5+ years of architectural design experience and demonstrate a very strong
knowledge of Revit.
Essential Functions:
- Will become the "Revit Champion" within the Newport Beach office, supported by the Lionakės Design Technology team in the Sacramento office.
- Responsible for development of CAD design and documentation of drawings; mentors/coaches less experienced staff on CAD-related issues.
- Responsible for development and maintenance of BIM design; mentors/coaches less experienced staff on issues.
- Responsible for project research and its incorporation into the project; coordination of specifications.
- In conjunction with project leader, develops and produces solutions for design problems; incorporates code research and agency coordination.
- Responsible for construction administration for projects; engages senior staff in problem solving.
- Responsible for coordination of consultants consistent with scope of work.
- Mentors/coaches less experienced staff with good time management in completing tasks on schedule.
- Assists project leader to ensure commitments made to clients are consistent with scope of work and supports project leaders in directing less experienced staff to accomplish project goais.
- Directs less experienced staff in office standa rds for BIM, design, quality control, and production.
- Reviews and evaluates documents for accuracy and coordination for project team.
Knowledge, Skill, and Experience:
- Bache|or's degree in Architecture.
- 5+ years architectural design experience.
- 5+ years Revit experience (inciuding model setup and development).
- Ability to mentor others in Revit.
- Experience with Healthcare projects preferred.
