AIA Inland California Chapter

Representative-Chapter projects include:

•A biennial Honor Awards program to recognize and call attention to projects which demonstrate excellence in architectural design.

•Symposia focusing on topics of widespread interest relating to the built environment.

•Support of exhibits, lectures, and similar events sponsored by local libraries, museums, historic preservation groups, and others.

•Family-oriented educational events and walking tours designed to awaken interest and sharpen awareness in young people and their parents.

•An annual golf tournament and other fundraising activities to support the Chapter's scholarship fund.

•Periodic seminars and workshops on topics of particular professional interest, such as emerging methods of project delivery and post-earthquake evaluation of structures.
 

•Monthly Chapter meeting, professional programs, and a highly readable and informative monthly newsletter.

•Full service distribution of the complete line of AIA documents and other AIA products to the building industry and the general public.

Chapter affairs are overseen by an Executive Committee made up of Chapter members, and managed on a day-to-day basis by the Executive Director. The Executive Director is available at all times to assist Chapter members individually and to facilitate use of the Chapter's most valuable resource, the network of more than 120 fellow architects throughout the Chapter territory.
