Executive Committee
(EXCOM) Provides leadership oversight and handles strategic decision-making between board meetings. Includes the President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary, and Executive Director.

Monitors legislation, licensing issues, and public policy impacting the profession and built environment. Encourages civic engagement and advocacy.

Committee on the Environment (COTE) Focuses on sustainability, climate action, resilience, and environmentally responsible design.

Oversees the planning and execution of the golf tournament, including venue selection, event logistics, registration, scheduling, and participant experience to ensure a successful and well-organized event.

Develops programs that support early-career architects and aspiring licensees.

Recruits and evaluates candidates for chapter leadership positions and presents a slate of qualified nominees to the membership, helping ensure effective governance, leadership continuity, and board diversity.

Oversees the chapter's financial health by monitoring budgets, reviewing financial performance, recommending fiscal policies, and supporting responsible stewardship of chapter resources.

Advances design excellence by promoting the value of architecture, supporting design-focused programs, and advocating for policies and initiatives that enhance the quality of the built environment and the communities it serves.

Develops initiatives, programs, and recommendations that promote equitable access, diverse representation, inclusive engagement, and leadership opportunities for all members.

Promotes student engagement, supports professional development opportunities, facilitates mentorship and networking, and encourages participation in chapter activities and the architectural profession.

Serves as the chapter's liaison to AIA California. Communicates state initiatives and policies to the chapter, advocates for local interests at the state level, and promotes collaboration and engagement between the chapter and AIA California.
