Scholarships Programs
The American Institute of Architects, Inland California (AIAIC) is proud to offer scholarships that support the education and advancement of future architects in the San Bernardino county and western Riverside county region. Awards typically range from $1,000 to $5,000, at the discretion of AIA Inland California.
Eligible applicants include students enrolled in architecture programs at California Baptist University and Cal Poly Pomona, as well as students in architecture and design programs at Mt. San Antonio Community College District, the San Bernardino Community College District, the Riverside Community College District, and the Desert Community College District. These scholarships are designed to support both students and the academic programs that are shaping the future of the profession in Inland California.
The scholarship program offers two application cycles each year. Students may apply in either the summer or winter cycle but may not receive more than one award within the same calendar year. Scholarships are competitive, and AIA Inland California reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to determine the number and amount of awards granted.
Application deadlines are June 1 for the summer review cycle and December 1 for the winter review cycle. Recipients selected in June will receive awards for the fall semester, while recipients selected in December will receive awards for the spring semester.
